This transgendered hair restoration patient was presented to Dr. Bessam Farjo for hair transplant surgery. 2958 grafts were transplanted into the receding frontal region. The hair transplant surgery was performed in the spring of 2008 and the patient is pleased with the outcome. No further treatment is planned at this time, but will will review this case in the spring of 2010.

The Norwood Class A patterns are characterized by a predominantly front to back progression of hair loss. These patterns lack the connecting bridge across the top of the scalp and generally have more limited hair loss in the crown, even when advanced.
