Procedure detail
FUT performed on a 45 year old Caucasian male with:
 - NW Class III-IV
 - Donor density of 84 FU/cm2
 - Hair diameter of ~83 microns
Treatment plan:
A follicular unit strip transplantation with 3000-3500 follicular units to restore the hair line, temporal peaks and central core, add density to the bridge
Performed procedure (November 10, 2009):
 A Follicular Unit Strip Transplantation with 3180 FU
 * 950 single hair FU
 * 1520 double hair FU
 * 710 triple hair FU
 Donor closing in 2mm lower edge Trichophytic Closure Technique (double layer suture);
 Cutting Edge blades of 0.75 mm – 1.05 mm;
 Dense packing technique with a density of 40-50 FU/cm2 in the hair line and feather zone (single units), a density of 30-40 FU/cm2 in the central core (double units) and a density of 25 FU/cm2 in the bridge (triple units).
