"It's hard for me to comment on the FUE procedure because I really haven't done enough of it to have a personal opinion about it. But I think for people who have a bit of temple recession and they don't need more than 500 or 600 grafts, its' an extremely good procedure. But most people we see, the number of grafts they need are 4000, 5000, and 6000 grafts. The strip procedure is so efficient and the hair we lose is such a minimal amount. But follicular unit extraction (FUE), I really don't know what the damage rate is. How many follicles do we lose actually to get 10 good ones, I really don't know that. But, I'll find that out in the next few months and see, in my hands, what the numbers are. If I think the efficiency is even close to what strip is, I might have some meaningful comment on it later."
