Procedure detail
This is a 47 year old patient who requested reinforcement of his receding frontal hairline and enhancement of density in his thinning midscalp and crown regions. He had a history of one previous session 12 years before presentation to my office. His examination revealed intermediate to advanced miniaturization throughout the regions of concern. A total of 2,248 grafts were transplanted using a non-shave, stick-and-place method. The graft distribution consisted of 1,107 grafts for creating a new frontal hairline and 1,141 grafts to strengthen the weak midscalp and crown regions. Presented here are 9 month postop photos which include parted hair views to better appreciate his density gain in the thinning central scalp.
