This patient first presented at the age of 62 with a request for hairline restoration and coverage throughout the rest of his balding scalp. His restoration consisted of 4681 grafts which created a new frontal hairline and distributed a thinner but natural coverage over his midscalp and crown. He returned to the office almost 5 years later for a follow-up exam. He is now almost 67 years of age and here are photos from his most recent visit.

The balding areas at the temples join with the balding area at the vertex. The band of hair across the top of the head is gone or sparse.
