Procedure detail
This hair restoration patient had two previous procedures over ten years ago by another doctor who was using older techniques. This patient was looking for an improvement to help his styling. We had to be careful not to get too aggresive and remove to much tissue because of his previous scarring in the donor area. We were able to get 2,316 grafts and had to strategically place the grafts where he would get the best results from his hair transplant. Here are his results 1 year post-op. We tried to show as many different angles and different parts with the hair to give an accurate visual of the results. It is very hard to see the old grafts.
Bald class
Norwood class 2A.
The class A variation of the Norwood scale is a slightly different and less common progression of hair loss. The main differences are that the hairline recedes back uniformly, without leaving an island of hair in the middle, and there is no bald area at the vertex. Instead, the hairline progresses directly from front to back.
