This hair restoration patient was 40 years old and a Norwood class IIIv when we did his procedure. These photos are 4 years post-op. Hopefully you can appreciate how well his hair transplant looks today. We did 2,395 grafts the break down was as follows:
554 single hair grafts, 978 2 hair grafts, and 1,352 3 hair grafts for a total of 5,588 hiars
Bald class
Norwood stage 3 Vertex
In terms of the receding hairline, stage 3 vertex balding is a less drastic version of stage 3.
However, people experiencing stage 3 vertex balding will also begin losing hair on the crown of their head. This often starts as one small bald spot.
