Procedure detail

This 34 year old hair restoration patinet came to me hopeful that I could rebuild his hairline
and add more density to the frontal area of his scalp. After establishing his
medical history and understanding the progression of his hair loss, I diagnosed
his condition as Androgenetic Alopecia (male pattern baldness), ruling out any
other possible dermatological or medical conditions which can cause hair loss.
The patient’s goal was well suited to his needs and therefore I planned the
surgery accordingly. A total of 3,232 grafts were used. The break down was as
follows: 1,880 single hair grafts, 1,272 two hair grafts, and 80 three hair
grafts. I used significantly more single hair follicular units which allowed me
to create a very natural hairline. This action will allow him to expose his
hairline without anyone detecting that he has had anything done. More grafts
were packed into the frontal 1/3 and less packed farther back into the mid zone.
These are his results 7 months post-op with more improvement to come over the
next couple of months.
