This local patient in his 30's was particularly bothered by his hair loss. Dr. Hasson restored the entire frontal zone while also adding density to the weakened forelock with 3796 grafts of which 962 were 1's, 2661 were 2's, 173 were 3-4's. At the time of surgery he was taking Proscar. He had medium density and hair on the coarse side. He was ahead of schedule and looking quite good considering this result was only 5.5 months post op.

In terms of the receding hairline, stage 3 vertex balding is a less drastic version of stage 3.
However, people experiencing stage 3 vertex balding will also begin losing hair on the crown of their head. This often starts as one small bald spot.
